Three new app stacks you can copy, Bubble's Starter Web price rise, and one hosting trap that catches a lot of first-time builders. This is issue #2.

This week's stack: a $26/month client portal

Freelancers, agencies and consultants: give clients one login to see project status, swap files and pay invoices.

• Lovable ($25/mo Pro) to build it by chatting
• Supabase (free) for projects, files and client logins
• Stripe (no monthly fee, 2.9% + 30¢ per US card payment) for invoices
• Resend (free, 3,000 emails/mo) for "new file" and "invoice due" emails

Two more new app stacks

• Event ticketing app: sell tickets to your workshops or classes, email a QR ticket and check people in at the door. About $26/mo plus Stripe fees.
• Job board: employers pay to post, candidates browse and apply. About $26/mo plus Stripe fees.

AI tool prices that moved

1. Bubble raised Starter Web pricing on 20 Oct 2026: it's now $39/mo billed monthly or $32/mo billed annually (was $32 / $29). If Bubble is your pick, budget for the new rate; for most first web apps, Lovable Pro at $25/mo is the cheaper start, and our picker already uses the new Bubble prices.
2. Neon's free plan now gives each project 1 GB of storage (20 GB across all projects) and 100 compute hours. The paid Launch plan is pay-as-you-go with no monthly minimum.
3. Replit Pro is $100/mo, or $90/mo billed annually. Core is still $20/mo ($18/mo annually).
4. Windsurf Teams is listed at $80/mo plus $40 per full seat. Pro is still $20/mo.

One tip: check your host allows business use

Vercel's free Hobby plan is for personal, non-commercial sites. If your page sells something or promotes a business, host it on Netlify's free plan (commercial use is allowed) or move to Vercel Pro ($20/mo). Our picker now does this for you automatically, even when v0 is your builder.
